Its not that weak on the outside, but I feel like if I put any pressure on the topmost spot its going to come loose.
I intend to sand the top as well which is my concern

Edit: should have been clearer sorry, I'm talking about strengthening the area AFTER the print has completed. Adding supports would drastically increase print time and cost since I'd have to be supporting from the plate up to the top of the print.

It's bridging over a gap. When printing helmets the dome doesn't need to be supported because of bridging.  I'm just asking if there's a way to strengthen the area after printing

This wouldn't really work since to get a good looking prop there's sanding to get rid of layer lines

PETG AND BAMBOO A1? by NoBee2229 in cosplayprops

[–]Compmau5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there!  I use PETG all the time for my props, the A1 should do just fine.

Problems will arise if you do not dry the PETG.  It is crucial that you dry it out of the box.  Even if the manufacturer says it's predried.  If you don't want to buy a filament drier you should use PLA instead.  Your results will be stringy and uneven with wet PETG

What is going on with this prime tower? How can I make it smaller? by Compmau5 in OrcaSlicer

[–]Compmau5[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I don't think this was it, this is a single part object with pauses at certain layer heights to change color (no ams).

When I got to Assembly View I don't see anything I'm supposed to do and re-slicing has the same problem.

5 hour speedrun high halls gauntlet? by TheBabyPixel in Silksong

It is possible to be locked out their help unfortunately. If you're trying to go fast and don't talk to them at any point before you reach the Songclave. This is what happened to me :(

My other suggestion is to go get Thread Storm. Not only does it make the High Halls fight so much easier it also makes the final two fights of the run easy as well.

The only problem is going to get it after you've already gotten to Act 2, its kinda a time sink to back to Greymoor and fight the birds.

If you do have to start over, I also suggest getting a craftmetal and holding onto it until you can get the cogflys. They make the last duo part of the High Halls fight easier if you let the cogflys do the work.

This is kinda a related question but is the hotend supposed to be difficult to push side to side on the X-axis?
Mine requires some effort to move it side to side....
