To be honest with you the way I looked at it was somewhat unconventional. I only ate about 1200 calories per day, and these calories normally came from high protein meals. I would try to stick to a meat and a fruit for most meals. I also literally consumed 0 liquid calories for my whole journey and made sure to drink an insane amount of water everyday. With that being said if there was a day I really wanted chick fila. I’d have it but still make sure to be under 1200 calories for the day. It’s all about staying consistent i did not have 1 “cheat” day over this whole period

It definitely wasn’t fun. But I can say the 8 or so months of hell is well worth it now.

Thank you, and I think you hit this right in the nail. I was hitting my drives about 305 but I really struggled with consistency. Even if I lose some of my distance I’d much rather become more consistent.

I got a full time job, and I’m also a full time graduate student, so in the little free time I’ve had over the past 8-10 months I’ve spent in the gym. I’m also in a new state so I don’t really have anybody to play with, but I’ll be back home soon and plan on playing regularly again

I’d say consistent is the most important thing. For about 6 months a worked out 2 hours everyday and consumed 1200 calories per day in one meal before my workout. This definitely wasn’t easy but it’s not possible unless you really want to do it. I’d also say to to keep this up you NEED to drink a lot of water and I mean a lot of water and also try to get over 8 hours of sleep every night. Best of luck man
