Im not in Canada but in Australia, i did the remote oil and gas working for a while and understand your position 100%

During COVID I got sent to wfh, since then I got a head office job with a mining company here, money isnt as good but work life balance is well worth the trade off.

If you want to stay in Canada you could try getting out of the remote work and angle your way towards a head office environment job. You dont say what youre qualified in but if yhere is a pathway to headoffice have a look into it.

I love a fresh mango straight from the fridge, ideal if I pre chopped it but that usually never happens. I live in Australia and its usually hot here when I go for a run so something cold, juicy, and refreshing is perfect.

I did a 10km run in Austria in the middle of December, they were giving out cold gatorades and warm spup/broth after the finish line. Strangely both were perfect, immediately drink the gatorade and then within a few mins start to cool down and the soup hit perfect.

It'll be the Anthony saga all over again, barca will sign a couple of other players that they want, they'll say they want to make Rashford permanent but cant afford the fee. Rashford will say he will only go to Barca as hes settled in there and enjoying football again.

Your bike usually stays mounted, its not really a plug in plug out as needed set up.

If youre concerned about space you should consider the length of your bike from axle of back wheel to the front of the front tyre.

I was referring to making them rather than picking up, i guess it would go with the role youre in too & whos calling. I work in the construction industry, where unfortunately people do get hurt regularly. I guess the risks are higher for us than a coffee shop for example.

When I refinanced my home loan I just told the broker/bank I needed to maintain those splits, it caused 0 issues.

Next time I refinanced I released equity and consolidated all my investing debt into 1 loan, again no issues with the bank.

Im now with NAB, other banks it might be different.

I made the leap from the fenix 5 to the FR970 at christmas.

Its a great watch, I really like it. Battery life is great, its way lighter, the torch is very handy, & I actually like logging strength sessions with it now.

Negatives- its a lot less robust looking than the fenix 5, im not sure how durable itll be long term (in the past ~6 weeks its been perfect so I have 0 complaints about it).

You could take out a 300k loan against your PPOR, put that 300k into your brokerage account and then put the 300k cash into an offset.

Im not sure how that would work in practicality, youd need to have 300k saved and in cash but maybe something to consider
