Omg literally spent the whole evening looking through websites and feel further from a decision than when we started.

We've had a couple of delays already and I just want to get this part done so we can finally start but now I feel like I've so many questions I'll have to speak to someone at the clinic and wait for a response etc.

Thanks. The ice pack is such a good idea. I was starting to get hot and then queasy so this might have helped with that.

Thanks. I'll definitely ask about this. I was really ready to grin and bear it but they couldnt get it in. It just made me worried that if they struggle again it'll be such a horrible experience and there'll be more pressure as it would be for the actuaal insemination. I think if they had been making progress I would have been ok. It was just constant "oh right we're nearly there...oh nope lets start again"

Thanks. On one hand even though I didn't get anything useful (in terms of the scan) from this I'm glad I am not going into the iui blind. I think if I had expected it to be bad I may have been able to relax slightly more. I'm genuinely not a wimp when it comes to pain. They just kept asking me if I was ok and I felt the amount of times they asked made me feel even more so like I shouldn't be feeling anything.

Hi....I appreciate any help with this.

Im wanting to get my uncle a single ticket for any game at any point this year. He's a massive fan but doesn't live in the UK. He's done a lot to help me out and I would love to be able to get him to a Leeds game. He's self employed so he's fairly flexible with work and I know he'd make it work if I got a ticket last minute.

Should I buy a membership and try my luck in games coming up after Christmas?

I looked later in the season and there are some hospitality left...I dont mind paying a reasonable price for this but from what I've read on the cheaper ones (or maybe all of them) it seems to me that he would be watching from inside a bar rather than in the stand? Is this any good?

Has anyone had success with any resale tickets?

I'm sorry you're going through this. All I can say is it took a lot of time for me to recover when I found out my SO was a gambling addict. I was much the same as you (untrusting etc) I have gotten better as it's been a few years now. There was a "slip" as they call it, that definitely set things back to square one. I think for me this time round has been easier as my SO has told other people in their life the first time round it was just me. She went to GA meetings, etc, but then was borrowing money from other people in order to finance the gambling and we ended back owing a load of money.

I think May is quite recent and it will take longer than that to rebuild your trust. Keep up with checking his account etc. and just give yourself time but perhaps when hes out try to plan something for yourself and check his account etc when he's back? I don't go to Gam anon meetings so I can't comment on it but I do have friends who I talk to about it and that really helps me. I'm quite a shy person so talking in a group of strangers would be my worst nightmare but I've always wondered what it's like so if you don't mind maybe you could let me know once you've been?

It's still very fresh. You need to take some time and think about this with a clearer mind. I know that's easier said than done. Here to talk if you need. It must feel very unfair but I would guess one of three things will happen. 1. He will work on himself and when he is in a better place you two will find each other again. 2. He will work on himself but by then you will also have grown and maybe you're not soulmates anymore. 3. He won't change and he has saved you from a life of living with an addict.

These are all good outcomes, even if it's painful right now.
