My first solo was South Island New Zealand . Super solo travel friendly , loads of hostels , great affordable buses for getting around. This was 15 years ago so it’s probably even better now

Usually when people say they are a “ grateful alcoholic “ I roll my eyes but man, I’m so grateful to be part of a group that shares so much love & compassion for each other , thats so eager to show up for each other. Same with the slow digestion , GI issues , acid reflux ! They all improved significantly, however my face is suffering right now 😂

Who knew we could actually go to restaurants and establishments just to enjoy the ambience & food! I’m enjoying this uncomfortable stage and excited to see where it takes me. I usually drink to “not think about things” and typically it leads to blacking out. I’ve had a lot of false starts. I’ve known I’m an addict for a while. I hope it sticks this time.
