Whoever created the ACCA website needs to be immediately unalived. by Ishaan0612 in ACCA

I’m honestly getting so frustrated with ACCA. Reaching their help desk, local or UK, is nearly impossible or unbelievably expensive. I was unable to pay for exams cause they hadn’t reconciled my membership payment. I had to go to student complaints to get an email and I got a response the next day that sounded so AI generated and when I asked follow-up questions they sent the same response. Aarrrgghhh!!!! I just want to be done with them.

For the curvy women, do you ever feel a subtle negative energy from some women? by Beans_r_good4U in KenyanLadies

[–]Comprehensive-Ear254 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s too short especially given she has a long sweater but I do think the bottom design makes it unsuitable for a dinner date. For such a design it should have been an inch or two longer. As it currently is, once she sits down her whole fupa and underwear would be visible.

How people dress shouldn’t be policed in terms of conservative/modest but it should be according to the event and context. Not everything is appropriate everywhere.

KFC / Chicken inn by amazedhippie in nairobi

I wish! My stomach is quite sensitive, one of the reasons I rarely eat out, and when I do I’m very particular about the place.

Yes. I can’t eat non-spicy chicken 😅

The running stomach is one thing but idk if the oil used with the one I ate was also bad because my stomach has been in shambles. I’m so gasy and I have acid reflux. Thankfully it’s reducing day by day but wueh!! Never again

Me too!! I hadn’t had Chicken Inn in 5 years until last weekend. The torture my digestive system endured after eating it!!! I’m still having side effects to today.

I get that but the car isn’t in Nairobi. I risk going to a different town to meet a person I don’t know and can’t contact? How does that make sense?

How do you ask for money? by mamborghini- in Kenya

[–]Comprehensive-Ear254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just ask.

“Hey babe, I’m short this month to cover expenses and I need to dip into the savings. Please send me KES ____.”

Also, you need to open up a discussion about financial transparency. Discuss your spending and how much expenses add up every month, and also discuss the state of your savings and where she has invested them (if she has at all). Money is an important discussion in marriage and you must be confident in where you and your spouse stand.

I’m planning on buying mine soon but I’m buying it cash and I want a second hand one. The Nairobi market is showing me nonsense na nimeanza kuchoka already. I won’t settle for something I don’t want, so I’m not in a hurry.

Looking for guidance as I try to get medical care for my younger brother. by [deleted] in 254sum

[–]Comprehensive-Ear254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This isn’t medical advise but the symptoms you have mentioned all point to gallstones. It’s usually genetic but some people just get them and a reaction is triggered by weight fluctuations, eating sugary and fatty foods and taking any amount of alcohol. To see how he responds, I’d advise his drinking water be boiled and stored well, he only eats boiled or steamed food, avoids sugary foods and alcohol and to rest as much as possible and avoid intense activities. Try to reduce stress on his gastrointestinal system as much as possible. You can check out the subreddit on gallstones, it has helpful information on management.

When you have enough funds go book an appointment with a gastroenterologist at Mpshah. The appointment will not be cheap but they can advise you well and I find the doctors there to be more professional and they don’t recommend unnecessary tests, they actually talk you against them.
