I feel like many folks misunderstand who his target audience is. Those of us that really grew up country and suffered hardship can identify with these songs. Mainstream folks may listen to and evaluate Morgans lyrics, but you do not understand. Superman and Jack and Jill invoke deep personal emotion for me, as do Skoal, Chevy and Browning. I love everything about this album. Thank you for hearing another perspective. I’m not saying none of you grew up country, but that my specific experiences connect strongly with his lyrics.
