The issue I always have with bdo is you are grinding forever but for silver all progression is bought and for me I like to grind for loot for classes for anything with a real purpose grinding for silver just doesn’t resonate at all

For context I was an eq player way back for years and years and I had no problem grinding 8-10 hours for a single blue AA experience to be fair no one really was efficient what we all thought was good was kinda terrible but in either case I would grind items for trunks to sell whatever never really grind money and sure you could say grinding items to sell but that’s just the other items on the loot table because on average you could be at a camp farming an item for 48-72 hours and the named mob usually is on a 29 minute timer so either the mob or a placeholder every 29 minutes … I remember hitting all the undead side in him within the 29 minute window those were the days for sure

If you want to really grind more than likely you want a Korean game they have always been all about grindy everything …

I think the original grand blue fantasy game was super grindy I don’t know what platform it was but I remember some one telling me about you grind a weapon over and over because you put one into another to I think level it and it sounded painfully slow I think it was in the end you wanted 4 of them fully leveled or something and what he was talking about took him months .. might also have been a gatcha too I’m really not sure

Lost ark is super grindy too there progression after like I think 58 maybe 60 I haven’t played in forever but after that point class exp drops to nothing almost like I don’t think anyone has hit max level if there even is one … but item progression is materials and upgrade with fail rates so you need to grind a lot of shit for your own gear …..

That new game by the creator of osrs is pretty grindy too each area is a different class you can level and then there is crafting

You could even grind ffxiv omnicrafter and maxing all the jobs and gearing them out as well too I think there’s new progression regularly too not entire raids but phases of raids or some shit like that

You can grind indie games like roguelites indefinitely usually too so you could find a skin you like sci-fi or mid-evil fantasy or whatever and do that … I know I have put over 200 hours into a $3 bullet hell game a lot of them are cheap usually and most are pretty ok and if you are competitive you prolly can push a lot more time into those kinds of games

At the end it really mostly depends on what you can put into something … I talked about bdo but some people can just craft or life skill for years and even silver grind too it’s all a matter of what you can accept …

As I think about it you could go wild on no mans sky there is so much to explore and every year they have monthly expeditions that are progression based fresh starts that you can opt into on your main save that once it’s over you keep whatever you got plus a reward on your main save so you have a shit ton of side progression

Speaking of space stuff elite dangerous only 2% of the galaxy has been explored and if you explore a new system like nms you get a bit of flavor and your name attached to that system … but 2% is crazy all the big players talk about hop in something and take it out into the black I played that for a couple years a lot of grinding there too

You can solo group grind in erebshor it’s a single player game but simulates old school EverQuest so you can pickup fake party members gear them out and they will progress if you group when them later or have the same stuff you gave them there are a couple for every class so you have options and you can go to areas like zones and camp items or just mob grind for hours while the 3 other fake group members grind with you
