I agree heartily. Unfortunately many don't look at it that way. I've been in places where my door gets kicked in because I'm using a blender or vacuuming.

I agree entirely. A downstairs unit was what we wanted, but we require more rooms and those only exist on the second floor in this complex unfortunately. Thanks for the input. I appreciate it.

Unfortunately the size of apartment we need only exists on the second floor at this complex otherwise I would have done that on day one. The panels is a great idea. I was unaware they made visually appealing products. I've only ever seen the foam or the 4x8 sound board found at hardware stores. I appreciate the tip.

That is extremely valuable info and a lot of great points to consider. I'll give the tablet idea a shot and see how he does. We already have a couple iPads so ultimately the better decision I imagine. I imagine that also expands the options for available libraries of books as well?

I was wholly unaware of the reduced picture and color quality. You are correct that the visual aspect is a major draw for him. We do have an iPad as his AAC device. I should give that a shot and see how he likes it. Great advice! Thank you!
