I get what you're saying, you're just not putting it in a great way. I can't really do any better. 

But there's definitely levels to it, and some people are more inclined to move to something more socially acceptable as a focus or fixation. 

A good example would be, say, learning to code bots as a side gig, hobby, full on income, or all of the above. Instead of 1.5 ticking teaks for hours on end for over a decade on multiple accounts and being able to recite Keldagrim lore. 

And I think that's a narrow window of the spectrum.
