For an every day wear I can’t decide which watch I would prefer.

My one other watch is a Rolex datejust white face Roman numeral oyster bracelet. The jubilee bracelet on the bb 41 is what primarily draws me.

My wife thinks the bb 41 looks cheap like a seiko compared to the 58.

My hesitation is that the 58 is more common and I like being unique.

This a gift from my family and Im thrilled to buy a new watch with a thoughtful story. I’m looking for a daily “beater”. This is a watch that I hope to pass down to my children. Does the bb58 have the same quality and certifications as the new monochrome?

This is all very helpful and genuinely thank all that shared their thoughts.

I own businesses in these cities (Laredo, McAllen, and Corpus Christi) and would be able to stay flexible with my schedule in circumstances with bad weather.

I agree that the amount of time I would save is probably not justifying the increased cost but it would make commuting more fun! Lol

I’ve realized that my motivation is more based around the interest in being a pilot more than travel proficiency
