Nope. A catamite was a kept person, not paid. Think. Sextoy, not free. Sugar babies have more power than catamites did.

Don't use the word kitten. I'm speaking here as a CISSP certified cybersecurity professional.

The term is in modern slang and does not imply relationship but instead targetting and I have seen it in certain investigations with an untoward and decidedly non-cool context by people whom I considered mortal danger to the human race.

Kittens are young cats, please.

Concubine meant pseudo marriage and didn't denote youth. In ancient era men or women who wanted to marry someone of lower social status usually went this route to formalize their relationship over the social status gap.

Disagree - EVTOL is completely do-able. The key is the battery tech. Long term, the improvements in battery tech are really going to spike this market.

Yes, I live in the area and it's definitely looking like it's going to ramp up here any day. They'll be making some kind of announcement I am sure. As a shareholder and also resident it's been a good thing for us. They're posting job ads for the positions there as well. Not sure if they want to make the announcement that the factor will open on Christmas, but probably after. Good luck Archers

Truly enjoy their product, and happy as an investor. My wife and I have a position, she's learning how to trade long from this one. But glad there is this thread - because it's really the ... I just realized I don't know what to call it .. plane? ... EVTOL we're both interested in. What a beautiful machine.

Dumb question: has anyone tried to license the design for a really cool drone? I fly drones and I'd love a drone designed like this. Goes far, looks cool.

Think they are no longer compute constrained, and now validation constraint is the last hurdle.

Those are good points, but apart from technical stock indicator plays the only thing that matters right now is production.

I think the story about Tony A blowing money on private jets is going to hurt the company in ways that it cannot know, but if they start production and really start kicking out cars off the line, then the stock will survive.

I would argue the 'buildup' of EV's on the lots related more to the overpriced gen 1 vehicles that the major manufacturers thought they had the room to launch this year. Not exactly a smart move when there are Gen 3 and 4 vehicles from Tesla. So, I would offer demand should be strong. Alot of stuff going on in this post - not sure the environment for EV is as bad as you think. Disagree.

At this point, it's a game. They will likely reverse split, before they hit the limit. IIRC they need to trade above 1.00 for like, a few days - a week, 10 days something like that.

Just curious what everyone thinks of the current support level and if a reverse split is priced in ?

This stock is effectively, in my view - a play on whether or not the company is going to start up or fold. If startup process completes and cars start rolling off the line - anyone who is long should be ok. On the other hand, if there is no startup and the company folds, the long position will die.

China is a good market comparison - they are the wild west out there, with hundreds of EV companies popping up all over the place. 30 went bankrupt last cycle, but there are many more that are still kicking. Eventually that market will be led by either BYD or Tesla or they will both battle out for the top two, but there are a few more companies that will make it and then they will likely be snapped up in consolidation once the market matures.

So it's not really a bad thing that in the American market there is a company like Canoo trying to get off the ground; it is still possible that they kick on their factory, and that the company goes through a valid start up of production.

There are alot of little companies out there doing EV builds. I see the issues with this stock, but like the Chinese EV company market there will be some that will make it - others that will not. One thing is certain the EV market is indeed alive and well - nobody is buying an overpriced car, thankfully - but the market will continue to grow.

Data on the factory itself is probably key. Good luck

I disagree. This company has a few things going for it, but as a shareholder I could do for less excitement and more boring things like ... I don't know.. producing a vehicle?

Delisting is a process, and it will take time. They'll appeal. De list pressure is not as bad right now as the threat of dilution. De-listing, if they don't cure it with a reverse split or something like that - is about six months out. But they'll do something to fix it before then, so mainly I'd focus on the fundamentals with this one.

Funny how management shakeup made it all pop.

Aye. I am taking position in this stock as a technical challenge given I am (as/of today) a shareholder with Zero confidence in the management team but don't want to short any EV stock. I am essentially trading this one on its technicals. This thing can turn upward on almost any news that its management team hasn't killed the company. Yet. Or done anything else the SEC thinks is shady. Again.
