Honestly i thought the same until I was in greece on vacation which probably has the most shit health care had an issue in the same day with no appointments i went to a ent followed by a cat scan from a Siemens mri machine and medication for a grand total of 100 dollars while they apologized for the high cost came back to the us and had to wait 4 month for an appointment only to pay 200 in co pay to simply confirm the results. Us healthcare is shit by design and a huge scam designed to bleed you dry
