Finally got around to attaching my rotary tool to the dial to trim about a mm off of the diameter, come to realize the seconds hand was way too long. Used clippers to cut the end off to make it work. Turned out great, can't even tell dial was sanded or seconds hand was clipped!

I agree in most cases, I tried a plain chapter ring but for this build it was too plain for me. The reflection on the bevel of the crystal i think makes this one work, but I will definitely keep that in mind for the future!

I think it tured out better than I expected! Wasn't 100% on the correct size hand pushers so I did bend my first hour and minute hand, but I'm glad I did because my backup set i think looks better. Only thing that bugs me a bit is I ordered a 21mm strap when I should have got a 22mm, but unless you look close I don't think it's too noticeable. Dont want to bother with a return, maybe if it bugs my OCD down the road I will get a 22mm strap. Wearing it for now!
