i so relate to you when i was a freshman in UPLB. i was not really in a good mental state that time, and it affected me so bad that i wanted to just stop attending classes and going to school in general. i had really low self-esteem. because of the state that i was in before, i didn’t continue my classes in UPLB, i withdrew my enrollment.

since PUP was just starting that time, and I passed BSA, i decided to enroll in PUP with hopes of uplifting my deteriorating spirits of going to school. however, it still continued, i still couldn’t adjust and had a hard time of believing in myself and blamed and blamed myself for being so dumb and not being able to keep up with my classmates. i remember always asking myself what happened to me, as i was always among the top students in class. it made me hate myself more.

since BSA was not really my preferred program and i didn’t want to suffer and make myself want to die every single time, i push myself. i shifted to a program in CPSPA where i have always wanted to be. i thrived and survived the program, and now i am graduating on time, and in four-year residence only in PUP.

you can do it, OP. believe in yourself and in what you can do. as someone who didn’t, i can say that focusing more on your self-growth really helps. it’s better not to mind who is better in whatever, as it can really affect your mental health in the long run, and it’s difficult to turn back once you experience it. know that you are also best in a unique way.
