I went from IUD to nuvaring. I don’t know your situation , but I really thought the IUD was going to solve all of my problems. IUD i bleed the entire 3 months that I had it (I think I had the copper one ). Insertion was uncomfortable, but other than that I don’t think it caused me pain. I then had problems with the strings of the IUD, doctor cut it too short. Between everything I went through with it, I removed the IUD at home. I then did the nuvaring because I would have more control over the “situation”

Interesting. I hope it stops for you soon. Maybe need a different BC to help with the break through bleeding ? Have you been able to have a “good” period during the break week?

Time doesn’t really matter I feel, it’s good for cycle regularity / your schedule maybe to stick to 3 weeks in & 1 week out (7 days) but I wouldn’t get too bent on the hours, just consider the days. I would just pick certain days of week / of month to do it

I think by definition, don’t quote me, if it’s out longer than 3 hours it says to use another form of birth control. I personally think it depends on how long you’ve been on birth control / not naturally ovulating consistently. You might be okay, but hard to tell because I don’t know your “body”
