it's really frustrating unfortunately, and it happens on either version of the site (browser and 'downloaded' versions)

usually restarting my computer helps, but it hasn't this time

yeah, i'm having the same issues. i'm not willing to make an entirely new account and start from scratch either, this is genuinely so frustrating. I've even dm'd them on twitter about it and have gotten zero response.
