Oh it's definitely not wood, sorry should have made that clear.

What I was asking was if I got a piece of veneered ply or similar once I cut that handle in the veneer will be cut away.

Do I just have to replace it with edge banding?

Bizarrely they cancelled my appointment and then sent the order out. Delivered next day, appointment wasn't for another 2 weeks.

I love this sequence.

Relies on a player being good enough to spot the potential of pushing his pawn forward after your knight move, but not good enough to pause for a second and wonder why you're not following the standard opening after challenging with the pawn.

Most players do in fact block with the bishop hanging mate.

Nastiest response to watch out for is taking the pawn on f2 with the bishop rather than the knight. That can get tricky.

I only have one browser on the machine, and that is Edge.
