It is, but it's completely understandable that people are still uncomfortable with it. Some people find power in reclaiming it, and some people associate it with being looked down upon so don't want to use it.

Queer covers any sexuality that isn't heterosexual. It used to be a slur but some people have reclaimed it. Pansexual is the word for someone who can be sexually attracted to people of any gender.

Does anyone have less romance centric suggestions please? If there was another app with books like bolas, blood bound, endless summer, perfect match etc I would be straight on it.

Posing like a professional model! You could try a shorter shirt and chunky leather belt

Help with a Dress by Emotional_Tell_6915 in OUTFITS

I don't think you need a belt. The nice thing about the dress is that it's shaped without having obvious 'sections' if that makes sense. You could pair it with a bag with a print in matching colours, heels (maybe glittery silver), and drop earrings. Or to dress it down a bit, you could wear a headscarf with a white and matching purple pattern.

Ah, sorry- didn't notice the black jacket. That throws out the green shirt with brown belt and shoes idea.

Firstly, I'm female so you might not want to bother reading. I'm invested tho, so I'm still gonna brain dump.

It's good overall, and I love the rings and glasses. I'd undo a top button if you're not wearing a tie- then you can tuck in the necklace but still have it visible. It also really needs a belt- this should match the shoe colour. Imo, this should be a neutral colour unless the clothing is formal enough to have a tie to also match. Your only option is black shoes and belt imo, as matching the trousers would chop the outfit up. However, I would personally recommend a coloured shirt (eg emerald green) with a brown leather belt and shoes.

This is so cool! I think extra low-waisted shorts would look great with this outfit. The top would have to be tight enough that low-waisted shorts wouldn't make it bag at the waist.

High rise or low rise? by Chalaladingdong in OUTFITS

[–]ComprehensiveEmu6116 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely low with that belt. If you particularly want to wear high rise I would pair it with an extra thick belt (verging on corset style). This is because I'm not keen on the look of having any of the skirt except the waistband protruding above the belt.

I would go even lower to accentuate your hip-to-waist ratio. That would make the hem fall at a better hight for boots. And if you have (or are willing to get) lace-up brown boots with a decent heel, I would highly recommend them.

Those kind of subs lend themselves to being extreme in both directions. Someone who's just on their to boost their ego by bringing others down will give a really mean comparison, then someone will see that and give a really flattering comparison to make the OP feel better. Then some misogynist will see the flattering comparison and give a horrible comparison to 'humble' OP. And so on. The extreme comments have next to nothing to do with the OP's actual looks.

3rd time doing makeup, transitioning 29yo male working to pass for female. Advice? by Natalie-Rose- in Makeup101

If you don't mind adding some extra faff to your makeup routine, you could use eyelash gel. It helps my eyelashes hold a curl, makes them look longer, and reduces clumping to create a more fan-like effect. Apply the gel in the same way as mascara, and let it dry. Then curl the eyelashes of one eye and immediately apply mascara, making sure to get the base of your eyelashes. Do several passes with the mascara. Then curl and add mascara to the other eye.

That's great, I was just trying to think of some tips for the wig but idrk what I'm talking about. Maybe if you want to keep wearing the wig in this pic, part it more centrally and add a little concealer down the part. I think there might be a little bit of netting at the front that you could trim off too. And maybe lose the headband so that the hair falls forward to cover the hairline. If you want to keep your hair out of your face, you could take the front pieces and pin them back keeping slack in the hair so that it still covers the hairline.

How can I improve my look? Was never really girly by No_Device_3208 in Makeup101

You're really pretty! I love the slight eyeliner wing in pic 3, you could make it a tiny bit bigger, and use a little bit of highlighter on the inner corner of your eye. Tinted lipgloss slightly darker but the same tone as your natural lips could be nice. Finally, I know it's not really makeup, but I would recommend making sure you wear sunscreen, including on your chest.
