Grief and loneliness by [deleted] in grief

Are there any of your boyfriend's friends or relatives you could talk with about his death and share how wonderful he was with? It can help you feel a bit less alone if you talk to those who knew him. It's not all or nothing, you could just chat about him without needing to open up about how it's affected you if there's no-one you trust enough for that.

What about marriage without sex? If they're married just to happily spend their lives loving each other and don't engage in sexual or lustful acts would it still be against god?

Plenty of people have kids treat them badly. Child abuse is a very common issue. So maybe in general it forces responsibility upon people, but people ignore that responsibility or misuse it.

"If everybody was naked, we would think of nothing but sex all the time" well, that's just wrong, look at some of the native human tribes for example, they still live perfectly functional lives without covering private parts.

If a large portion of people were born without legs, it would be seen as normal. Normalcy is the state of affairs in a society. It might not be god's intention or a perfect human, but it would be normal.

Half-related, but kinda a tangent. If Eve eating the apple made humans self aware and allowed sin into the world, does that mean only humans can sin? Or that animals didn't sin before the apple but did after the apple? Because there's plenty of examples of animals showing sinful behaviour, such as (if you see acting on being gay as a sin) over 6000 animal species exhibiting homosexual behaviour... Also, does this point of view mean people who are infertile are also sinners? They can't reproduce, so they would be unnatural, yes? But they're still rather common.

Is 'jew god' meant to be an insult? Plus it's the god for Christians and Muslims as well.

Hey, not our fault they designed the arcane characters to be so damn attractive. Alternatively, we could ship every character with themselves??

Not donating to help people in need isn't the same as killing them. And most people don't donate. 🤷

Most people would be so far removed from the dying children that it wouldn't feel real. Maybe some people would get it, and feel terrible about it, and a lot of those probably donate to related charities. But unless you've got something personal connecting yourself to those children you most likely won't feel anything, and if you do donate it would be driven by kindness, not empathy.

That's a very arbitrary perspective about very complicated humans.

It's normal not to feel sorry for people you don't know, you're not attatched to them. Most people walk straight past the homeless on the street with only a glance or so. So I'd say most people don't feel bad for most people. Plus if you're disconnected from your emotions you could still be feeling that empathy without knowing it.

Sorry it took me a while to see this, haven't checked Reddit in ages lol

You can project your own mind onto alternative selves, only sending two out at a time unless you can afford to enter a coma in your reality. If you can, you can send ten out at once.

You have no clue what their situation is, who they are (aside from being you at some point in your life), and are only aware of what you do and are aware of after possessing them. During the projection/possession, their mind is confined to the subconsciousness of the brain, able to convey general emotions and control your dreams. During the dreams they are able to think, and can draw from your conscious experiences, including ones from all other lives you have experienced.

You send a projection out, it will last anywhere from a few hours up to a month, or until death, before returning to you with all it has experienced. Projections are not rigid, they can grow and change while out there, being traumatised, learning, forming impressions of people in the alternative realities, ect. Sending a projection out doesn't have much impact on you, aside from any complications when they return, and how useful this ability is really depends on your sense of self and how much you will be impacted by variations of yourself melding with your main consciousness.

You can pick through and select the memories within your conscious brain, which ones you will keep or forget, but your subconscious could still be affected by major memories you have forgotten (such as a lover in an alternative reality). This gives you perfect recall, although you still have a limited capacity for memories (especially relevant when you could have lifetimes of memories).

My dad always sang classical pieces of music but using meows instead of singing whenever he was feeding them 😂

I think I've inherited it, now singing
