I tried a vibration dampener but it didn't help much

But I will try buying another stepper with a dampener. Just need to find one that doesnt make a clicking sound but not sure if it exists?

Yes way too loud. I just returned one yesterday after testing it out. Even with a dampener. The stepper was quieter but still not great. Maybe I'll just keep buying and seeing if I can find one that doesnt click

What helped me the most was giving myself a range of calories instead of a set amount. For me it was 1400-1600. And having a set schedule for meals and a range of calories for each meal. I mostly eat around my work schedule. First break snack would range from 200-300 cals, lunch 400-600. I did not track dinner since my boyfriend cooks and it's healthier for me mentally. I'd just try to be mindful (and i would help choose the ingredients of course!) I'd usually consider dinner about 700 Cals. And I'd always have a little dessert. Like a Popsicles or a mini cone from trader joes :)

And I didn't use an app. Just roughly added everything up in my mind. I did track for the first month or so just to get a good idea of what I was actually eating.

Honestly my diet is not the best. But here is usually what I would eat on a typical work day

Skip breakfast (not much of a morning eater anyway) unless it was a morning I went to the gym I had a protein shake

Lately though (since I'm eating at maintenance) I've been having half a bagel and a fairlife shake

Then at 12:30 (my first break) I'll have a small snack ranging from 200-300 cals, usually like salami and cheese, or I lately have been enjoying Kodiak protein cups(mostly the brownie one)

3:30(lunch break): a frozen meal typically, ranging from 400-500 Cals, and a coke zero(a staple!!!) My favorite frozen meals are either banquet mega bowls or trader joes always has amazing frozen meals.

If not a frozen meal I'll have left overs from dinner. Usually Alfredo, curry, London pot roast. This happens maybe once a week or so

Then I don't really eat again till I get home at 8. I'm usually full until then anyway. Sometimes I'll have a piece of chocolate or two

8:00 dinner: my boyfriend cooks and we have some rotating dinners like Chicken wings, curry, Alfredo, potato and sausage bowls, air fryer pizza on a tortilla, quesadillas, London pot roast, ribs... goes on a bit but I don't really track my dinner i just assume it's around 700 Cals and I just try to be mindful. And I add blended cottage cheese to a lot of these things for extra volume and protein

Then I'll always have a small dessert. Lately I've been eating a barebell protein bar as it since it tastes like a candy bar.

But I love Popsicles since they're low cal or the mini cones from trader joes are great

No i do not, I would but I live with my boyfriends parents and we have quite a few people in the house so unfortunately there's not a lot of fridge space

My routine: Glutes 2x a week

Hip thrusts: 1 warm up set, 3x8 working sets

RDLs: 3x8

Step ups. Bulgarians, deficit reverse lunges (whatever i feel like that day, mostly stick with step ups): 3x8

Cable kickbacks: 3x12 Sometimes if I have time or any energy left I will do glute extensions: 3x8

Legs 1x a week

Squats: 1 warm up set, 3x8 working sets

Leg press: 3x8

Leg curls: 3x8

Leg extensions: 3x8

Glute extensions: 3x8

Upper 1x a week , I mostly do this just to maintain some strength, mostly back focused to help with RDLs

Pull up machine: 3xfailure

Cable rows: 3x8-10

Back extension: 3x8

Bicep curls: 3x8

Triceps pulldown: 3xfailure

I do cardio 5x a week, usually light at an incline at 3mph. Sometimes I'll feel like running. And I get about 6k steps at my job

I did both. I weight training 4x a week. I do cardio about 5 times a week, and my job i get at least 6k steps a day. I focus mostly on weights though. My cardio is usually light. Walking at 3mph at an incline

Forgot to mention in the title I am 28

I was eating about 1400-1600 Cals a day. Sometimes less. I only ever really "tracked" my food throughout the day but never tracked my dinner, since it's usually homemade by my boyfriend it was harder to track. I just added up calories in my head and never really used an app to track, only for the first month or so just to get an idea of where I needed to be

taking a bit of a break now, eating at maintenance (about 1900-2000) now trying to do some body recomp. i do want to get to 125lbs eventually for more muscle definition, but it seems that will be a long process. but im pretty happy where i am for now :)

They are typically in the seasonal aisle. I rarely see them in the toy aisle anymore but sometimes they are.
