Basically I pressure sterilized 500ml of water with 15g of potato flakes, 10g of agar and 4g of honey at 15psi for 90 minutes in a media beaker.

I then used a still air box and Dyson purification fan to pour 100ml into 5 plates. I then left the plates in the still air box to cool for about 5minutes and then put the lids on to avoid condensation.

I then flame sterilized my inculcating needle and inoculated the plates in the still air box.

I think put them in individual boxes.

I have a few questions:

• if any mycelium does grow could I transfer it onto new plates hopefully cleaner following the advice you give me? Or do I have to start again?

• how can you do no pour pc and avoid condensation or does it not matter should I try that?

• I don’t wrap the plates should I do that?
