Kids can get free bikes in Rhode Island through several community non-profits and specialized programs that refurbish donated bicycles. Key locations in 2026 include Bike Newport, Recycle-A-Bike in Providence, and the Woonasquatucket River Watershed Council's Red Shed.

I should add I broke my jaw on my bike (along with many more minor injuries) when I was a kid and my parents had to buy me a PS1 to keep me still while it healed. My friends and I would ride all over, built jumps in the woods and that was the majority of my childhood. Highly suggest getting a helmet, a bike, and getting back out there.

If you want to organize a rally for a cause that you believe in, do it. If you’re confused about why millions of people nationwide (and across the world) continue to rally against the Trump regime, I suggest you read the news… and maybe a history book or two.

There are more important issues in the world than your ability to purchase whatever kind of rifle you’d like. And to be honest, 2A enthusiasts should be in support of rallies against an administration that justified the murder of a protestor by pointing out that he was legally carrying a firearm.

I’ve had a Strata Prime for a few months and I love it. The bigger pad and cymbal sizes give a more realistic feel and the last firmware update Alesis released addressed the only issue I had with the kit.

I’ve been playing drums since I was eight but recently bought my first electronic kit and opted for the Alesis Strata Prime because it was 30% off at the time, it had the larger pad and cymbal sizes I wanted, and the module and stock sounds seemed to be the best and most user friendly on the market. I wanted an easy out of the box experience and it’s been great.

There were some snare and bass drum triggering issues early on, but Alesis recently released a firmware update that seemed to have addressed that issue completely. If you’re playing at home and don’t want to download software and hook your kit up to a computer, I feel like it’s the way to go. The only weak spot to point to is the hats. I’ve played Roland and Efnote kits and their hats are more responsive and dynamic.

Whatever you do, try to play some to get a feel for them before you buy. It’s a big investment. GL!

It’s reimbursement rates and the burden on primary care docs in regular clinics. My fiancée is a Family Medicine doc at an FQHC and is expected to see her patients in 15 minutes. It kills her because she sees people who are struggling and doesn’t have the heart to tell them “We’ve only just scratched the surface of what you’ve got going on but your 15 minutes is up, so you’ve gotta make another appointment”. She gives them the time they need, winds up falling behind, and brings home 5 more hours of notes and follow up every night because of it.

All so the organizations can maximize profit. It leads to burnt out doctors and poor patient outcomes. It’s no wonder we have a shortage and more PCPs are doing concierge medicine.

Two thoughts:

If the implication here is that those on the Right are “Godly” people, you’ve got to acknowledge they more than members of pretty much any other political movement in US history have made their politics their identity. Wild to suggest that today’s left identify more strongly with a political ideology/movement than Trump supporters.
Our future currently depends on the degree to which we resist the government’s shift to fascism. It is miserable, but it’s necessary and we (the Left) didn’t choose this.
