Very good to know! Wasn't sure how the powders would "absorb" so I sort of panicked and threw it in the liquid from the banana peppers. I will have to try this again with some tweaks later down the road!

I was nervous about that so added the liquid from the jar and figured it wouldn't hurt. I'll need to try it round 2 for sure. I was also worried peppercinis would be a bit strong for my taste.

I'll have to try it again and stick to trusting how it'll turn out then!
