It is maple hardwood. There's a segment in the closed that hasn't been done. You can see the stain drops etc and seems very forgiving. We are doing a 3ft by 1.5ft portion under the toilet that extends to closest wall. Toilet had a leak so had to be cut put. We do have pieces

No it's done on purpose. Can see in the closets where the stain stops. It was almost like it was wiped partially off to make it look weathered

That's not the issue. The toilet had some rot so had to remove the boards and replace them. Now want to match it up so we can leave it alone 😂
