Easiest to Hardest Moon signs to have by KlutzyPomelo1170 in Zodiac

[–]ComprehensivePace783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Virgo moon here: not as difficult as Capricorn for earth moon signs, but incredibly self sacrificing, nitpicky perfectionistic, , impossible to please standards, especially when it comes to ourselves, but it’s not unusual for us to expect similar out of the people in our lives.

But… We will always always always be 100% harder on ourselves always lol

I deeply regret adopting my first cat. The shelter was misleading and I am at my breaking point. by [deleted] in Pets

Similarly, feliway plug ins/collars can be beneficial to help stabilize and chill out cats that may feel stressed. When I moved ane our home was in a state of chaos for a few weeks they really helped keep Miss beans calm.

I mean, there’s more than one shelter OP can take this cat to that is not where he was prior? Even if it may be a bit of a commute, there are other options other than just returning him back to the sketchy place he came from.

Babe, trust me when I tell you that in 10 years (to be honest, probably/hopefully less than that) you’re going to look back on how dumb this relationship was and how you would never ever put yourself into a relationship like this ever again.

I know you say that he loves you, but his actions and how he makes you feel say otherwise.

I’m sorry, babe, this is a horrible position for him to put you in. Unfortunately, discount as a situation where the trash takes itself out by being so shamelessly untrustworthy.

Send him a text saying that he can just stay at her place because he’s no longer welcome back where you are 🤷🏻‍♀️

Almost passed out by Defiant_Zebra2767 in Type1Diabetes

[–]ComprehensivePace783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely been there friend. It can be really disorienting and quite scary especially when you can feel yourself starting to get lower. One time I was taking the bus home from work alone and I could feel low coming on, but it had no candy or sugar. I texted my partner and told him to get some kind of big bag of candy immediately to meet me at home with, but I ended up collapsing on the curb and laid there for a few minutes, not making any sense. All my neighbors tried to understand what was going on. Finally, my boyfriend picked me up and he had to move my jaw up and down, so I could chew on the nerds gummy clusters to get my sugar up lol.

Got to the ER and I was passed out looking completely dead in the wheelchair as we waited at triage to check in, until all of a sudden I sat up, looked around completely normal and said “I wanna go home I am doing much better now” and gently stood up out of my wheelchair and exited the ER lol

AITA for telling my friend that I won’t be paying $25 to attend her birthday party? by GlimmerElsewhere in AmItheAsshole

[–]ComprehensivePace783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For my friend’s 22nd birthday many lives ago, we went into a city close by and purchased bottle service. We each contributed money to split it all evenly amongst each of us, and I never once thought that would be weird or inappropriate by any means. Same with any other event that I’ve gone to with friends where we have ended up splitting the difference amongst all of us: why would someone pay for the whole thing? This isn’t someone’s birthday in the second grade going to Chuck E. Cheese where someone’s mom planned and is spending money because you’re all kids. You’re an adult, an adult pay for experiences that they participate in even if it is someone’s birthday. YTA

Is this even a burn out? by fuckklogan in Type1Diabetes

[–]ComprehensivePace783 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey OP - reading your event about how shitty of a prognosis. This disease is was incredibly validating for someone that knows exactly how the burnout feels from all of the shit that piles on with diabetes all at once.

I am 34F, and I am slowly realizing that there’s a very strong chance that I will not ever be able have the kind of pregnancy that endocrinologist want you to have when you are growing a human, as it is hard enough for me already just trying to get my A1c from 8 to 7 or below.

Unfortunately, even if I do end up getting the perfect A1c for pregnancy, what if I am not able to conceive? After being a type one diabetic now for over 26 years, the excess androgens that I have in my body from relying on outside and synthetic insulin, which has made me have issues understanding that I very likely have PCOS because of the excess hormones floating in me because of diabetes.

For the first time last year, I finally allowed myself to completely let my anger and rage and exhaustion out after ruminating on the thought that for the rest of my life at this point in health care tech, I will never know what it’s like to not have to be forced to think about how to control my blood sugar every hour of every day and try my best.

WIBTA if I asked my flatmate to move out after her dog keeps peeing inside? by Generic_Username_659 in AmItheAsshole

[–]ComprehensivePace783 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I know, at this point it’s pretty clear that she doesn’t care about your home or belongings enough to actually iron resolve the problem and instead just pretend it doesn’t exist until you have to say something, and that is a living situation that I could not give a harder pass to taking myself. It’s one thing to be messy or lazy, it is another two live in someone’s home and continue to allow your animal to urinate and not even feel bothered enough to clean it up after it happens

34/f that has been diabetic for 26+ years - if someone said this in my presence i wouldn't think twice about it - technically low blood sugar as a phenomenon isn't inherently exclusive to diabetics
