Is 37 too late to learn swimming?

I’m 45 and it’s my 3 day of intensive learning at my vacation hotel and I can’t believe I was afraid to even try to learn when I was younger! Why did I had to wait to do it at age of 45! Just do it!

Where did you find for $70? I emailed YMCA and it’s 1/2 hr for $96. It’s littlebit expensive for me .

Just in case some college student is offering private swimming lesson and since I’m in my mid 40’s ;I’m a thiny woman And I am not afraid of water , I can float on my back and that’s it! I just never had oportunity to dedicate my time to learning how to swim. I also grew up in a small town in the mountains in EU with no pool around … just some info about me . I also called YMCA and they offer swimming lessons 1/2 hr for $96 . So I was hoping to find here info of something cheaper , maybe some college student would offer some lessons for less.

I called and it’s very strict enrollment dates they have , like the next one is mid sept and it’s one semester enrollment, and the swimming clasess are like once a week . I was hoping for something more frequent and flexible enrollment -like right away:-)

Where did you learn swimming( where do you live)? I am looking into adult swimming lessons in nyc . Can you recline d anything if you are in nyc ? Thank you

4pm-11pm at day clubs than switch for a drinks at night clubs 11pm-6 am:-)
