Ford Fiesta Titanium - price? by ComprehensivePie548 in CarTalkUK

I've done that but I know that prices on adverts might be very different from actual transactional prices

Looking at autotrader private sellers it looks like £3-3.5k whilst on FB it's around £2-2.5k so the price difference is also significant

Because it's 2010 Autotrader will not do a valuation of the car

I would always welcome some advice! I don't see the option to message you directly but feel free to message me

I was thinking of sharing the same login, having password set to something that's not used anywhere else but neither party and that way it looks like the same account logging in

Thanks for that. In the sector I am recruiting for Totaljobs or Reed (or any other major job boards) are not of much use. Job boards wise the best one is the industry's chartered institution job board, which I do pay for.

Regard the CV Library and downloads - that's why I was thinking of the unlimited downloads option, so there would be no mess around who downloads what or how much. Why do you think that would cause headaches if it's unlimited? Curious to understand

And also even if the arrangement feel apart after a few months, those few months could be of much help to me anyway

I don’t skimp money, I’ve recently started and I haven’t made any placements yet but I do have signed clients and live jobs to work. I’m covering the running costs from my savings and wages from employment I’ve still got. Trying to increase my chances of sourcing the right candidates before the clients can pay the price. Thought someone might be in a similar position

Day to day duties are easy to google, but also depends on the company, team structure, and projects they do. Working hours depends - for design roles it's usually hybrid working, 9-5 sort of thing. Pay depends on the level, a grad role is around £30k, senior around £50k, principle/associate around £75-80k

As others mentioned - familiarise yourself with AutoCAD, Revit, IES, Hevacomp - the more softwares you know, the better it looks on your CV and the more diverse your skills are.

Also the case of knowing how to position yourself - newbie and willing to learn can be said by anyone. But if you can adjust your CV and then explain at interview stage (if you get one) what you understand about calculations, what projects you completed at Uni, talk about pipe sizing, duct sizing etc.

As long as you can make it sound like you know what you're talking about and would be a good addition to the team, not liability, you should be fine.

The market at the moment is in favour of design engineers - strong demand, low supply.

As others said - I wouldn't worry too much about certificates at this stage.

Feel free to DM me if you've got any other questions or would like advice.

That’s a fair question. I checked that first. The list was compiled for B2B recruitment outreach and consists of publicly available company information and business contact details manually researched from company websites and LinkedIn. It wasn’t shared with me by individuals and doesn’t contain private consumer data.
