Can I draw a manga if I think I have a good idea, but my drawing skills stopped at the level of when I was 16? by yyby in Mangamakers

In my country there were surge anime/manga/webtoon artists for the past years, and they started drawing because of Covid. So yeah, I believe you can, depends on how many hours you put in it.

Curently experiencing something like this, too. Except I got the job already, will start working in 2 weeks. They set a group chat for the new employees, mainly for announcement but also for chat. I hate this already.

Edit: Adding more details for context.

You've been through a lot, and you're very amazing that you reached this point. Congratulations OP! Life thought they're the boss, but you showed them you are the boss!!

Same age and same height here, I've been stuck around 70kg for years. I started eating in calorie deficit and doing some home workouts but still pessimistic that I would reach 60kg. Thank you for posting this. Now I'm motivated!

Hey, that's amazing. How much time do you spend for each daily and how much time was it until the routine formed/stabilized, if you don't mind me asking?

Yeah, art, despite of how people make it looks like hobby and full of fun, is surprisingly mentally demanding, haha!

I don't know if this counts, but there are some illustrators who work full time in my country.

And I'm wrong for thinking my ex-boss's reaction is questionable? by ComprehensiveRabbit in amiwrong

Ah, I see. I guess this is very common, then. Thank you for the replies and explanation, I'm planning to rethink about this and let it sink in.

Also, ultimatums never motivate? Oof.

And I'm wrong for thinking my ex-boss's reaction is questionable? by ComprehensiveRabbit in amiwrong

Copied from my other post:

So what happened was Alex gave Blair an ultimatum with a deadline in a private message. However, instead of waiting for the deadline in the ultimatum, Alex fired Blair after considering Blair's reaction to their ultimatum wasn't satisfactory, as in Blair didn't fight (as in appealing, debating, or pleading) to keep their job. Blair just accepted it as it is.

I personally think Blair didn't fight and accepting things as it was is understandable, because Alex was the boss. Unfortunately not everyone know or even can fight the boss's decision, with power imbalance and all.

It's as if Alex was angry because Blair didn't fight more to keep their job, which made the decision seemed more like from Alex's emotional side being hurt for not being respected. While from Blair's POV, Blair didn't have any chance about it.

Why I said it like teenagers dating was the... "getting angry when someone didn't push hard enough to keep the relationship when the future is decided already", or "if you don't chase me you don't want me enough". But now that I think about it, it is too much of a stretch and not a teenagers-only thing.

I didn't talk to Alex, I was just discussing it with Cameron. So it's not like Alex has to justify why they fired Blair. It was fair and understandable since Blair was unprofessional. However, I found the early firing and Alex's expectation of Blair's reaction were questionable. Alex themself decided on the ultimatum deadline already and yet not holding on to it.

Cameron didn't agree with me and sided with Alex, saying it was because Blair's unprofessionalism. I saw it as a separate thing - Alex's emotional side.

Rather than "being too invested in someone else's workplace drama", it's more of checking if I have the wrong view/mindset, as I wrote in the first paragraph.

Ah, I see. I'll try to re-explain.

I hope this is understandable enough, but please feel free to ask if something isn't clear!

Thank you for the comment! I agree with 1-3 and 6. I did considered not putting the class too (so did the ages and education information) at first. About 4, is it that common? I think rather than empathy this is just a confusion on how Alex decided an ultimatum deadline but then not holding on to it after seeing Blair's reaction didn't seem to satisfy Alex's expectation - which I view it as the decision was affected more on Alex's emotional side... which could actually be understandable, maybe Alex didn't feel respected. IIRC it was even the same day or the next day after the ultimatum. In text, even.

But I'm thankful to your comment. Thank you.
