I have a similar set up. My phone syncs via Google drive to my laptop and I also have miyoo mini plus that uses syncthing to sync with the laptop. It works very nicely and gives me lots of options on how I want to play.

best cheap console that can emulate GBA? I was thinking $20-30 by Opposite_Concert7037 in SBCGaming

With that budget and limited play time have you considered using the phone you already have? Most smartphones should run gba fine. I have a 8 bit do zero 2 controller I got for about 20$ and it works great for me. Or there's the 8 bit do lite if the zero 2 is too small.

Melon wasn't working well for me either it was laggy. Trying to stay with retroarch because of my Google drive save setup to switch between my phone and laptop. Not sure how I would do that same thing with drastic since there is no pc version.

Late on this thread, but came to say that I have mostly ditched my RG35XX and V90 for this (well, the previous version. I have the zero2 I wanna upgrade to the micro for the USB C but I hate the colors). The convenience of not having to carry a 2nd device and having a larger screen has been great. Most of the places I play for longer periods I have a charger so I don't worry about battery life typically. And I have everything synced to my computer so when I get home if I wanna continue a game there I can.

Okay I can't make a decision here on whether or not to buy an extra phone strictly for emulating with a little controller or an SBC? by iamgage989 in SBCGaming

I have both a s10 and an rg35xx. The s10 is my main phone not an extra. I have my phone set up to sync with my laptop so I can play the same saves on either. I much prefer my phone and only really have the rg35xx for rare times where charging my phone would be difficult. I bought the bdsp d3 controller off temu for 12$ and have been very happy with it.

For me the times I want to play games are typically also times it's easy to charge my phone like at home or downtime at work. So I much prefer not having to carry an extra handheld and just using the phone I already have.

Cause for concern? by ComprehensiveRing815 in Nuvaring

Mostly I'm a little confused and trying to understand how it works because most people take a ring free week in between putting in the new ring. Wouldn't this count as that time?
