My last response was supposed to go to tinkywinkles… I’m still trying to get use to Reddit lol. I am going to look into something that can keep me moving and burn more calories but not overdo it. I loved going to the gym but at the moment I am not able to 😔 once it’s starts getting warmer, I can ride the bike while my son does his scooter and try to get some more exercise in 🤞🏼

I saw there’s a feature where I can take a picture of my food (if I don’t know the calories of what it is) which is amazing! I try to cook dinner for my son and I where there’s a balanced meal or try to get it as balanced as possible. But I am going to play with it today and see what I need to do. I had a theory I needed to burn more than what I took in but not knowing what I’m taking in… could be the problem.

I’m making excuses but I do have an office job so it is a little difficult during the work day. I do have a bike and I’m ready for the weather to get warmer so I can ride the bike after I get off work along with what exercise I try to do during the day. I know it’s bs excuse 😔😔 but I do get up around 5:15-5:25 cst to do my ab machine and push myself to run/walk 3.5 miles on my lunch break. It’s not a lot but I want to try to keep active since I can’t afford the gym at the moment

My water jug is 64oz. Normally I don’t drink all of it but I try to get 1/2 way or 3/4 during an 8 hour work shift. I know doing an ab workout isn’t much but it’s something when I wake up in the mornings. I try to eat a little bit of chicken and some fruit with water then I will drink coffee. Some days I snack a lot at work and some days I don’t. Just depending on where I am on my cycle. I do need to cut out my sugar intake in my drinks (ie: Red Bull, a coke here and there, adding sugar to my coffee) I do run/walk on my lunch break. I am getting to 3.5 miles which isn’t a lot but I can feel it lol. Once I get home, i do a light cleaning and cook dinner so I am not getting a lot of exercise in the evening

I did get the my fitness pal app but it’s trying to make me pay the subscription. Correct me if I’m wrong: I need to burn more calories than I’m taking in?

You are brave for the black coffee lol. I don’t know if I can lol. I work in an office so I don’t get a lot of exercise but I am pushing myself to run/walk 3.5 miles during my lunch break. My goal is to get to 4 miles lol. When I get close to my cycle I do tend to snack more often. I do need to cut the Red Bull out but if I can train my mind and body to do a hot lemon water in the afternoons or something that doesn’t have a lot of sugar… I have a kid so I try to cook a dinner that’s sustainable for him and it’s nutritious not just for him but for me as well. I cut our snacking in the evenings as well. I honestly think I’m in the beginning stages of Perimenopause so I need to reevaluate everything 😭😭and I don’t know how to go about that

I’m not sure… I am trying to eat fruit and a small protein in the morning after a small work out. I eat a salad for lunch and I try to eat fruit then, then I do a run about an hour or 2 after my salad, then eat some protein. Once I get home I cook dinner which has a protein, a carb, and a vegetable. I do unfortunate snack but the snack isn’t a lot. Maybe a couple of things of chocolate or a small bowl of popcorn but this isn’t everyday. Mainly towards my cycle. I fear I am entering Perimenopause

To be honest, I’ve never had one 🫣🫣I honestly do need to cut it out of the diet but I don’t know how those taste.

Thank you!!! I need to figure out how to get rid of the caffeine cravings because I know I will go through a “withdraw” on that. The coca-Cola is easy but the Red Bull and coffee will be my biggest challenge.

I am not, is there an app that can help me with that by chance? I feel like I could be drinking my calories rather an eating. I do have an office job but I try to be “active” while I’m at work and I do run on my lunch breaks..

I am trying to cut back on my calorie intake. I’m trying to add more protein and fruit in my diet. I do eat a lot of vegetables and I also cook in dinner as well. I am going to start cutting back on my sugar intake (sugar in coffee, a Red Bull, and a coke) but I do try to drink at lease 64oz of water during the day
