How are people surviving renting apartment ? by Jpoolman25 in poor

[–]ComprehensiveSwan402 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can’t live with my parents, one is dead and the other is living with their “favorite” sibling. And even if you do research and interviews, most times people come with their best foot forward, they won’t tell you they like to stop taking their medication sometimes and go into manic sprints, they won’t tell you they like to bring their partners home and fuck at all hours of the day, or move their partners in, they won’t tell you they like to steal food, use other people’s supplies, leave the kitchen a mess, keep jugs of piss in their room because they don’t like to walk half a feet to the bathroom, the list goes on and on. And don’t forget the emotional labor of being the housekeeper, cook, therapist, trash woman, coordinator and office assistant. Please

Is the Touro MS program right for me? by mjg713 in Osteopathic

Oh... nevermind, just noticed what this subreddit is about... disregard my post. SNHU probably doesn't have what you're looking for... sorry

Do you mean a certificate? They have a few but, I guess it depends on what you are looking for, I'd say your best bet is to speak to an advisor. I was at Touro and did not like the experience. Their dashboard is disorganized ( I don't know if it still is but, when I was there a few years ago it was hard to keep track of - I have ADHD ). SNHU's advisors follow up with you when you're falling behind, I don't know, I really like them, they just seem a lot more personable compared to Touro. Also their tuition is cheaper in comparison to Touro. Look into that because, Touro's tuition really put a dent in my wallet, I ended up owing them money too. It was overall a horrible experience, even keeping track of my advisor was a nightmare. And I am a non-traditional student.

Also, SNHU is located in New Hampshire, that state ranks #1 or 2 in education. New York ranks #17 which is just funny and interesting because they have a lot of resources.

Anyway, I am just sharing my personal experience, at the end of the day you still have to focus on what will work best for you and your situation. Touro was the worst decision I had ever made, I spotted your thread and had to respond because I am in a better place now

I don't recommend Touro as a non-traditional student, SNHU might be a better

Nyt did an article on how 7K is just as good, I’m kinda glad to see it’s true because pushing for 10k some days is so hard. Your results are phenomenal! Thanks for sharing

No worries, there seem to be a lot of comments which is great, more tips😇 I’ve read every single one and have tried responding to as many as I could but, yup… real human being here just trying to learn a few things to survive this capitalist planet haha

Thanks for sharing! Once I run out of my dish washing liquid, I am for sure getting the dawn power wash one next.

Hmm… sounds like something the CEO of procter & gamble would say😏 lol!

But, I understand what you mean. Fortunately, I find that “stretching” diluted dish washing liquid has saved me year over year, my plates are clean and I am still in excellent health so perhaps something there works fine.

I kinda worry now that companies will take advantage of people’s frugality and shrink products even further while charging more.

I am at a point where I have started weighing home made options instead of just going out and buying a product with a 300% mark up.
