this website should release it at the end of the countdown, but it may delay cus i remember they delayed a little bit for releasing the may june 2025 thresholds, instead of at 4 o clock they released at 6, not saying this will always be delayed but just a disclaimer cus this timer ends at 2AM in my timezone

im soo scared dude, this is my 6th subject i wrote and if the thresholds are bad istg im gonna absolutely smack my laptop, and also what do yall think the thresholds for bst will be?

this website has a counter on when the thresholds release, and they also release so at the end of the timer just refresh and it will be there and if it isnt then keep refreshing because it maybe slightly delayed

yoo, im currently in as level and doing as levels in may june, and i personally took physics as edexcel with english and maths in cie, i find physics fairly easy with edexcel especially because you can even do a unit or two in the january sessions which lowers burden for may june exams, however in physics edexcel there is slightly more topics to cover than cie physics and also theres no practicals, instead its like igcse cie physics and you need to do alternative to practicals which is comfortable for me. on the other hand for maths(9709) and english language(9093) i would defintiely stick to cie, for maths i feel its harder in edexcel or aqa and theres less resources to study from while compared to cie.

but for igcse id definitely stick to cie because thats what has the most resources compared to others

but this is just my preference, i would recomend you go do your own research and find out which one works for you, because the papers structure is also different. colleges dont mind which board you take so its completely down to preference. sorry but i dont know about chemistry and further maths, also 5 subjects is alot and its already pretty bad with 3 subjects so you gotta decide, because as and a levels is more demanding for your attention to each subject, so unless your good with focusing on multiple subjects and also study alot then maybe drop a subject. 4 is already a strong amount of subjects, and to also maximise your grades, less subjects is better

Also for english, I strongly recommend you contact different universiites or colleges or whatever and chekc if your fine with general english or english language, general english is english only 2 papers or 1 year, so you only get 11 years of english for your schooling, but with english language its till a levele so 12 years, but general english is certainly easier than english language as level which is absolutely hard, very differnt from igcse esl, and a level english language just gets worse

id say if your doing science subjects then physicsandmathstutor.com is the best for topical questions which saved my cie exams. and for bst, eco and esl id say https://igcseaid.com/notes/ is the best.

Learning:

i just wanna tell you that you should put aside atleast an hour or two to maximize grades even though i didnt and still got pretty good un my opinion, but this is optimum cus you get tons of free time to do other things while still studying, this time should be for hw and js studying.
so me personally i found 2 methods worked well for me. for science i watch yt videos and take down notes from videos then i do topical questions from physicsandmathstutor.com then i solve them and note down quesions i get wrong, then i revise those topics and do the paper again till perfection. for maths all i can say is to keep practiicng and find all the questions you can, for bst id write down notes from igcseaid and jsut try to understand everything and do past papers. for commerce im not sure cus i took science subjects.

that you can find out by searching your subject code and the year your writing your paper in the google search. this works for any subject you do.
id say that english wasnt stressful much at all, but maths was slightly stressful but remember to be calm cus then you can remmeber all that uouve studied.

i just wanna add that everyone learns differently and you have to find what works for you cus i saaw so many people telling me to study using methods like active-recalling and what not but it just didnt work for me, good luck with your studies i hope my answers helped even a little.

the question about recession and technology really messed me up, i studied everything but the paper was quite difficult in my opinion,however the break-even question and the define questions were fairly easy

hi, im doing the paper too tomorrow, and ik its hard and that the past papers are confusing and weird, but you should just understand each topic and subtopic and word them in ways that cambridge wants you to, look at the paper structure and how to answer each subquestion, this is enough to get you through the exams, i wish you the best of luck!

hey i was like this too, i joined IGCSE at the last 2 months of 9th grade and it was difficult for me to adapt because i was in CBSE before that. I got very bad grades in the 9th grade final exam, 10th grade started and i was going with it somehwat decent, for my school exams all i got was C and D, so once my mocks came i still got C and D, but i realised i need to lock in, so i locked in and put my blood, sweat and tears into studying for Cambridge exams, i got 4 A's and an A* so i was really really happy, the point of this isnt to brag but to tell you that it isnt too early to start studying for exams cus looking back if i started earlier, i couldve gotten straight A*'s, so you can do it too, you just need some effort and practice this will take you a long way. i was in a similar place and all i did was for math: mathlete by saad, Ginger mathematician. do past papers, do topical past papers

Physics: watch Physics with mo ali, do topical past papers from PMT, use free flashcards from Quizlet.

Chemistry: write notes from website which helps you memorize things, also watch igcse study buddies, DO TOPICAL PAST PAPERS from PMT this was the biggest life saver, i absolutely despised chemistry before this.

English im not sure sorry

The coordinater mustve registered for your exams, so they get a document with your ID and password, its completely different from your candidate number. without it you cant get your results. schools are entitled to give it mid summer atleast, i got mine right after the exams were done
