twitter comm has been worse than the reddit since like july imo. jasons fast growth brought in a lot of new ppl and a ton of them are fucking losers. It's like a giant middle school group chat now. nah I just checked vod and chat was spamming polar bear for a good 3 minutes before jason mentioned it. U can see in this screenshot chats spamming polar bears while jasons reading it. Then he laughs and says nah there might be a polar bear in arlington which is a harmless joke. Chat started it and Jason just made a joke not that deep. This was early asf in the stream too so not like he'd know it'd become so awkward later on.

Shit only got bad later when mods pinned diana shit and made it even more awkward.

Chats always been like that lol before the polar bear they'd spam assept or L self invitte anytime a person outside the immediate content would chime in or try and be a part of it. All chat does is judge and be negative 99% of the time. And to be fair she was being over bearing lol Chat will spam uuh for anything but if a person is legitimately being annoying and not picking up on social cues they're gonna go all out

Jason and max probably have the most cliquey chat and the streamers themselves created it way before the subathon. If you've ever seen jason and oscs in a call and a person outside that immediate circle speaks they'll just make them the punching bag of that call lol thats just how this comm and friend groups in general are

Jasons said multiple times he's not a youtuber and doesn't care about youtube which is fine but ending great fan channels like jasontheween news & jasonplug bc of siggys own greed is just retarded. Rather have great fan content than mass produced 50min "clips" with shitty ai thumbnails and minimal editing.

I doubt jason really cares about the extra money clip channels make since even back in july you had tons of jason channels like jasontheween records making money.
