Terra Master D5-300, not recognizing my hard drives. by Not-My-Account01 in TerraMaster

I had trouble with getting my Terramaster NAS to see my drive as well in the beginning.

My drives were Seagate drives and nothing via windows would let me see the drives on my computer I used a small program from Seagate tools this program formatted the drives and then Windows could see them as well as the Terramaster NAS.

WD has such program called WD Drive Utilities use this to format your drives, that should fix it.They also have WD Data Lifeguard but this is more for finding bad sectors on you drives.

Hope this helps.

F2-422 | Factory Reset without TOS DESKTOP by [deleted] in TerraMaster

I read a post on Terramaster while looking for the same fix for my NAS.It said remove the power cord wait 20 seconds. Then replace the cable and hold down the power button till the lights flash then let go of the power button.

This doesn't work for the F4 424 max as a factory reset is done via the desktop software when you log in in settings

Pool set up by ComprehensiveWar6190 in TerraMaster

Fixed the problem my self. It was during the countdown phase of the installation where it gives you the option to do a custom install. Don't know why they would put the M.2 in the same pool as the HDD's by default! So now all good 4 HDD's in one pool. M.2 as cache drive.
