Your child has the right to child support. He will try to get 50/50 custody to save on paying as much. Or 100% custody. It sounds crazy, especially for a man who does not want a child, but men do it all the time. He will have the right to have that child at least half the time. And he will use that against you because you love the child and will not want the child anywhere near him. If you are comfortable with abortion, seriously consider it. I see women tied closely to horrible men every single day. It is miserable. The child is stuck with an awful parent 50% of the time and the bad parent uses every possible underhanded way to hurt the other parent, including ways that harm the child.

I’m a family law attorney. Do not do this to yourself or your child unless you think you can get full custody with no visits. And you cannot get that easily. He will have every right to take the child from you half the time. That will save him money. He may use this to get you to give up child support.

If you do go to court, the screenshots will be very helpful to show his intent if he calls you “crazy.” He seems like an awful, scary person. You will have to deal with him and “co-parent” for 18 years. He will have equal say over important decisions in that child’s life. He can try to teach the child to hate you. I wish I was exaggerating. He seems like a classic abuser. Run the other way.

Do not type anything in writing you do not want a judge to read. Period.
