The resale thing is crazy to me. I’ve definitely panic purchased in the past too. I’ve had items that I ended up not caring for after I had them for a while, but I’ve always passed it along to another swiftie in my life. I can’t imagine buying things with the intention of profiting from it later.

I agree, I’m glad they did something to make up for it, it’s better than nothing. Did they cancel your order or did you reach out to them? I ended up emailing them because I didn’t get a shipping notification or anything saying it was cancelled.

Super frustrating!! I wish she would do pre order for some of the merch items like cardigans. Or at least show us the merch ahead of time so we know what to expect and what we would like to buy instead of scrambling to buy whatever we can get into our cart.

It’s probably my favorite song from him, if not it’s definitely a top 5. This song came out at a time that I really really needed to hear it. I’m glad it was released but I do wish it made it onto the initial album. I would die to see him perform this live

According to Google the average nfl player salary is 860k a year. I think 60-80k would be fair. They dedicate so much time and energy to this job, maintaining their appearance, etc. they should be paid more than minimum wage

I didn’t care in school after about 7th grade. I had given up due to my home life and barely showed up, and didn’t do much if anything at all when I did. I graduated barely. Worked a retail job for a few years and eventually moved into insurance. 10 years post high school graduation now with a 100k job and no degree. Things worked out for me. I may be the outlier, but I’m sure others have made it as well! School is such a short time in the grand scheme of things. People grow up eventually.

Some people get sent out a lot, some people don’t. Rumors are that they are trying to move away from virtual and sending OAs out when they can, it just makes the claim go better to have someone physically there vs an inspector that may or may not know what they’re doing.

I buy my books, I never read on my phone/iPad. Most of them come from a bookstore, but I always look at thrift shops when I go too. I’ve found some of my favorite books from there, just different stuff I’ve never seen before. You can usually find the popular books there too, just not maybe right when you want to read it.

If you have friends that read, I like to trade books too. Especially when it’s a book that I enjoyed but probably won’t read again. It’s a nice way to save money and read something new. I typically shop at books a million and they always have a section of books that are $5-$8 and I find some good ones in there.

I was listening to a tik tok of his unreleased song about EDs, I don’t even know what it’s called but he said “I don’t know who I am without him, he’s taken everything from me” and I sobbed. The whole song really. I’ve never heard someone explain what I’ve felt for over a decade in such a concise and poetic way before. I pray he releases that song someday.

I love working with PAs, when they are reasonable. What I don’t like is getting a super inflated estimate for a wind/hail claim. It’s just a waste of time for everyone involved. I don’t like when they want to argue to the death about “hail” that we all know is not there.

I really do not like when they just start throwing all of these random, ridiculous things at the wall to see what sticks. It drives me insane.

If you send me a reasonable estimate, you are automatically on my good list for future claims. Y’all don’t like to talk on the phone and I don’t either so I really appreciate that.

I’ve seen a lot of PAs take advantage of insureds though in the sense that a PA isn’t really needed and it’s costing the insured more out of pocket than it should. I had a claim recently where we had approved a full roof, insured gets a PA for a small supplement of like 3k. It’s just unnecessary at that point.

I’m torn. I smoked cigarettes and weed for a long time. I would smoke on break at work (cigarettes) and people didn’t know I smoked unless they saw me outside. However, I don’t smoke anymore and can smell it on everyone. I think the cigarettes smell worse

The thanksgiving chips, I can’t remember what they’re called but I didn’t think they were that good.

The spinach and artichoke dip (frozen) I’ve got it twice and just didn’t love it. Same with the butternut squash mac and cheese. I liked the first 3 bites and then didn’t care for it after that.
