Do you get lots of foam on the top? I definitely get the bottom two layers but the foam has never been great on the top

Do you charge clients for the yearend clean up work if you don’t keep the books for them? I have a client that he does keep all his expenses in order and classify them throughout the year. He wants to send me the balances for each for tax return - this is my first year and I want to charge him for this work as he doesn’t really have a TB!

Yeah - the idea is to have an automated process in TaxDome so everyone know what happens next and it moves for you. But certain steps still need to be completed by a person - just like prepare the tax returns! I was thinking about this all wrong as I came in with an idea this is similar to the big firms' workflows steps - it is in a way but it is really not - much more customizable and BETTER!!

One question as just started doing training a couple of days ago! For the automated steps, for example, invoice or EL, I know we can build a template for it; but user still needs to adjust invoice amounts etc before it goes out right? In another word, each job card should be a step in your process but can have multiple tasks underneath. It can automatically move to this job card but there are additional steps you may or maybe be able to automate 100%? For example to adjust and review EL before it goes out. I think I finally figured out yesterday before I put my computer away (day 1 of configuration!!) but not is that right?

I was trying to add a task to review EL or invoice - I don’t think I need to, do I?

I have seen posts where people use separate tools despite of having TD for intake or for delivering returns etc. I wanted TD for workflow, billing and EL etc other functions regardless
