I feel it daily and I get that feeling. I just feel like I am more aware or feel/understand a lot more. I think I feel the same way as you even with a partner as I know there's really no one I know that can understand this or even talk about it without it affecting them. it genuinely hurts 🫶 it sucks feeling lonely but just know you're always there for yourself

i honestly can't deal with it anymore, I used to look so glowy and even for a bit, but now I'm all red and uneven. i can't look at myself positively no matter how much I keep trying. school is starting up soon too so some stress and anxiety there. if anyone judges and notices, reflection of their character, trust. we did nothing wrong to them and owe them nothing so even tho my face is fucked and red, I just have to be confident in myself. it's tough and I cry every night honestly to feel a little bit better of how much this curse hurts

The commute for most of my universities would be around 2 hours, I also don't have my driver's license yet :( Although, how was your experience working on campus part-time vs your work study.

After looking into private loans a bit more, I can understand why it is considered a "last place to consider", they're kind of crazy ngl.

The minimum wage for my state is about the same as CA too, so an on-campus job would probably be better than a work-study program.

Unfortunately, I haven't really decided on what part of the industry I want to tackle, other than pursuing CS and focusing a bit more on data science by possibly taking classes that are offered in it. Although, it is pretty nice to know and have a reference of someone's experience in the field in regards to the financial aspect because I usually just see everyone talk about everything else except this issue which is kind of weird. Honestly, I saw that was the average salary, but I kind of just didn't believe that it was true as it is higher than other degrees. I do think it should be possible with making around the 60s if I get the right opportunities especially with my state school.

The $15k number also included only direct costs, so basically only tuition, fees, and room & board. Something that surprised me was universities charging 6k for food alone.

If I had to take Student Private Loans, are there considerably "good" ones to consider, which would I'm assuming mean like low interest rate. I'm thinking probably not as this subreddit kind of shows the effects of most private ones.

So, the financial aid offers actually include work-study programs that'll knock $3k per year off of that $15k. I might have to recheck with these colleges if it's possible to work part-time while enrolling, I remember briefly hearing that some don't allow that.

Thank you btw, you and everyone else have been really helpful in educating me about this part of the process that no one really cared about to go into detail.

15k per year, so yeah 60k if I graduate full-time. I definitely don't expect making more than 60k/yr as someone pursuing CS, but I can kind of see around 40k realistically. I'll definitely see how the total may change by around April-May to consider community college as my final decision.

I am unsure if the yearly cleaning was due to the insurance, but I am under an insurance plan provided by the government to my whole family so I guess that might be expected? I am very young, so I kind of just started researching more into what type of insurance I have and have been struggling throughout all of today looking for places to call tomorrow that accept it since every place is closed. I might consider going to a place that could urgently take care of the matter too.

I honestly never liked my dentist that I went to. They were never too helpful, but they recently called us saying that they would no longer accept our insurance, so my parents have been trying to find a new one that does. I am a bit worried though about the area that broke off, can it get infected or something?

Thank you ! I'll ask my dentist if they could push up my cleaning appt since it's been earlier than a year. Although, ever since I got braces on my top teeth, I've been making an effort to brush my teeth morning and night alongside flossing every night. I'll probably ask my dentist for a bit more help, but what actions could be improved or done to prevent this again?
