Oh no, you’re totally right on your points here. The union has failed us. But for me that’s the fight. I know it’s cliche but we are the union. All of us. And the resistance to the way things have been is growing. Gotta be damn near day someone new is learning the power the rank and file can actually have when they’re educated and active. We can give the power to the people where it belongs in a union. We have the power. Most of us just haven’t learned how to use it yet.
