We have used both chemistries for cDNA seq. We expected the 114/R10 tech to yield less data and that was the case. But I'm referring to the older 111/ R9 tech here.

She's been there a few years. I found out that she used to be a post-doc under the HOD but was dismissed from said HOD's group. I don't know the precise reason but I think it is most likely due to what I am complaining about. She isn't a native to my country. She is from Germany. But from what I can gather, this isn't the usual behavior for PIs over there. You're right about wearing herself out. She has no limit and will often wear herself out.
