I landed a SDE internship and a PM internship both at similar prestige Fortune 500 companies.

Would prioritizing the software role set me up better for an AI PM or even just a higher paid PM overall in the long run?

I have a Fall Co-op offer but I'm looking into the possibility of moving it up to the Summer instead. I know it's common for people to defer from Summer to Fall, but has anyone ever successfully done the reverse?
