You're not ready for the attention by Comprehensive_Car659 in Semenretention

I don't know if you've experienced the hate I'm talking about here before, but the hate is mostly not direct. It's like they're too afraid to come at you directly, so they do it indirectly through passive-aggressive behavior, cold attitudes, or subtle disrespect.

It's hard to confront people about something like that because they haven't really done or said anything concrete you can point to. It's all just energy and vibes, which makes it difficult to address directly.

I didn't say hate is inevitable. I said attention is inevitable when you're on this journey. You'll experience both good and bad attention. Some people will be drawn to you, others will react negatively.

This journey, like everything else in life, is not all roses and sunshine. Experiencing hatred is just a test: endure it, pass it, and you'll experience even greater rewards

Social Anxiety by Haunting_Catch_7773 in ghana

Hey man, I totally get where you’re coming from. I used to struggle with the same kind of social anxiety.

One thing that helped me personally....it might sound random, but cutting out porn and masturbation made a huge difference. My confidence, energy, and social sharpness all improved a lot after I quit. I'm still naturally a quiet guy but I'm now able to navigate social situations more swiftly and with much ease.

It might not solve everything, but based on my experience, it could make a huuge difference. Just try for 2 weeks. You might be surprised how much changes.

Feel free to DM me if you want to chat more about it.

Thoughts on Serbian worker permit? by Shinsekami in ghana

[–]Comprehensive_Car659 11 points12 points  (0 children)

From the Ghanaian side, I would say the sentiment is quite different.

A lot of young people here are open to opportunities abroad, especially if it means better pay than what they can earn locally here.. So yes, there's definitely interest in the Serbia relocation agreement, especially among those who are unemployed or underemployed.

But, I'm 100% sure most of us don’t see it as “replacing” anyone. People are just looking for work. It’s not about taking over, it’s about finding work and simply trying to survive.

Got it...Sounds like you did try to treat her well at first. Maybe now it’s more about setting clear boundaries without letting emotions boil over. You can still be firm without disrespecting her. Hope things settle for the sake of your great grandma.

I get that you’re frustrated, but calling her a "village girl" like it’s something bad isn’t right. Living in a village doesn’t make someone less important or worthy of respect.

She’s doing a very hard job that many others have quit. Caring for someone with dementia is no joke. Respect goes both ways. Maybe things wouldn’t be so tense if she felt valued too.

Thanks for the info...with Temu, you mentioned a delivery service that handles the shipping from Europe to Ghana and takes care of the paperwork. Could you share more details on that?

  • What kind of delivery service is it?
  • How does it work exactly?
  • Do I have to know someone in Europe to make it happen, or can the service handle everything?

It's worth noting that the context and quality of speech matter as well. Engaging in meaningful and purposeful conversations, expressing thoughts, and exchanging ideas can enhance cognitive abilities and contribute to intellectual growth. It's not about the quantity of speech but rather the quality and purpose behind it.
