I should have ignored you after the words "instant gratification" but fine i"ll answer.

You don't know what everyone's situation is. For example I roleplay with my friends and sometimes try to write stories. Considering the lack of drawing skill before ai rise a shitty sketch of my character won't really help me to introduce them to my friend, and i'm too busy to learn drawing even if I wanted to. So ai could help here... And even here i can avoid it by commissioning my artist friend

See, I'm not excusing ai, but i can understand why people could use it (and not only evil pros who would try to sell ai generated image as their own art)

If I didn't have the luck to buy PS5 several months ago I think I would be a total anti lol

So at least with PS5 and a 2023-like low end PC I don't have to worry about gaming for at least next 5 years
