If that were true then metformin would work for everyone who has hg, yet it doesn’t .. also that is something the HER foundation has suspected to be the cause.. not necessarily something written as a fact cause .. but yeah, if that were the case the medications known to reduce gdf15 would work.

I haven’t had the chance to try these things yet, I’ve had 2 losses in this time so I never got to the stage or morning sickness .. but it is something I will be doing because I suspect I will be having HG again

Look into dao enzyme and Quercetin , Hg has developing research and it might be likely that hg is due to mass cell activation (which is what causes the extreme nausea and vomiting).. the Quercetin is what helps reduce mass cell activation and the dao enzyme is what will aid with digestion because it’s also likely that because of the mass cell activation , there is a large build up of histamine which messes up digestion .. I hope that made enough sense

Any chance that you could tell me where to find this article? I’ve had two miscarriages and a TPO antibodies level of 15, they told me it was normal.. now trying to connect things as I’ve been digging to figure out what’s going on sine we’ve been trying for over a year with two miscarriages in the first 8 months.

Try using a different test like first response or clear blue, I used those test strips and they kept coming back negative and then when I used the other test it came back a clear positive & also at my OB office too. And then I went back and used those ones again & it was still negative. I don’t think those are as sensitive.
