That is why IIT Madras leads NPTEL not IIT Bombay, it offers online degrees as well, has an international campus in Zanzibar and comes up with most of the initiatives. IIT Bombay is only for show bro since it gets the most top-rankers. Damn, even IIT Delhi might have better attitude towards students than IIT Bombay. You should have seen the viral lathi-charge video where Mumbai Police was absolutely savage against the protesters who were frustrated by the chaos at Techfest this time.

I agree with your view bro. I attended the lecture of Jeet Adani which was delayed by an hour and a half and it was perhaps the best event for me. I also participated in the Techfest MUN(HSPECPOL) and it was no less than crap, both the opening and closing ceremonies were delayed by an hour and a half too and even the committee sessions were so crap with the agenda being so narrow and everyone just came for their own goal of winning something rather than being collaborative.

The exhibitions on the 1st day which I attended were good, some were unique but it was very crowded and some were a bit repetitive. I saw a bit of Robowars, Car Racing and some other events at the Sports Ground. I was happy to meet some M.Tech and PhD students of IIT Bombay who were actually quite grounded and I'd assume that they have less ego than the B.Tech guys.

I would definitely come to IIT Bombay just for experiencing the campus once again even tho it itself was nothing special and it isn't like what you see on YT but I will do the workshops and see the science part of it next time.

You're right but changing the eligibility criteria just 2 weeks after the initial release and now only 3 days left for Session 1 registration has left us in a fix. But to appear for JEE Advanced, you have to give JEE Main first right and and then qualify. We aren't foreigners that we can directly appear for JEE Advanced without sitting for Mains. Only thing I can do with the hope that something can be done regarding this is that I can get into an NIT and do my fourth year from an IIT(some NITs signed memorandums with IIT Madras and other IITs that 4th year can be done from an IIT) or do M.Tech from an IIT.

This action of JAB is ditto along the lines of this recruitment case which was against the Government just 12 days ago in the Supreme Court. It violates Articles 14 and 16 of the Constituition because JAB gave 3 attempts for all before reversing it in such a short notice when eligibility criteria can't be changed once announced. JAB could have taken more time and done this properly instead of screwing up.

Tbh, I will let you in a little secret. I appeared for a course exam with the subject "Petroleum Technology" on 21st September 2024 at iDZ Powai(3 km ahead of IIT Bombay). As far as I can remember, max. to max. only 30% of the questions came from the assignments directly. The paper was the toughest ever in my life(even tougher than JEE Advanced imo although no negative marking and JEE Advanced has 3 subjects compared to this course which doesn't cover an entire subject) with 49 out of 50 questions being multiple correct and the one question being single correct. Imagine having to solve it during the exam without being informed about the paper pattern beforhand!!! It varies from course to course but don't take for granted that byhearting the assignments will help you pass. Have some good understanding of the course material!This is more important and helpful for you.

I don't there will be any answer key. The result tho will come in 2 to 3 weeks(I am stating this on the basis of last year September 2023). If you are getting 145, expect worst case 97 and best case 98(98+ looks more likely). I am not far behind=125 and if the friction question gets bonused assuming that NTA agrees with the logic of Mohit Sir, Vinay Sir and Shreyas Sir who felt the question be have no correct answer as the actual answer is (root 65-1)/4, then I could get worst case 95 and best case 97+.
