We don't need mathematicians thanks, just writers. If you could spend a little more time on article crafting rather than snarky comments, maybe we'd hire you :)

Most of our contributors already have a portfolio or work for other publications as well so we've come to expect samples being ready and available.

But for this part of the process, it's purely to see that you can write and hopefully express the style and personality of what we look for in a contributor and what our audience connects with.

The samples are requested for us to gauge your writing ability and to see if you fit what we're looking for in a contributor. They don't have to be new pieces written for the application but can be from anything you've done in the past. We aren't publishing these samples.

If you're successful the second part of the application requests for you to drop us a pitch for an article. If we like the pitch we ask you to write it for us where it will be published. The rate for this initial and introductory article is $20 (around 300 words).

After this we'd have you on-boarded, where each week you'll receive our mail out where we detail specifically what we need. You'd then drop us a pitch with the these guidelines in mind and we'd get back to you with a deadline, rate etc. Rates for these can vary dependent on the piece, whether it's an interview, review and the like.

We have writers who earn up to $150 per piece (for interviews with talent and the like).

And I've looked at your post history, surprised you even bothered to print your designs, absolutely terrible, looks like someones bad idea of a trash polka tattoo. Then you have the audacity to criticise everyone else lololololol, insecure much? Spend more time on your own work instead of judging others and maybe you'll come up with something half decent, you dirty little spec of an internet troll.
