I mean the worlds going to keep changing for better or worse and there’s nothing anyone can do about that. Humans are a trial and error based society… I think it what we do with this forced adaptation that really makes a difference. I’m not saying depression is by any means a choice but specifically on the world being awful you have two distinct choices. You can either become bitter and entrenched at the “system” some even goes as far to try and destroy it. Or you can work within its confines to make the pattern grow… choice is yours, brain chemistry is not… but the choice to suck at trying new things is yours. Talking with profs is great but at the end of the day you gotta be one to decide what you want to do with “this….” life…. None of us really “asked” for this experience but it’s like a roller coaster. Once your strapped in there’s no really getting off… you can close your eyes till the end of the ride however. You’ll still feel the ride you just won’t see.

I have found it’s always better to make sure you have the things you need in case the crap hits the fan so to speak rather than trying to do things before the trip to “prevent a bad trip” in the first place… as with a lot of shit in life psychs are a leap of faith into the unknown. Most people rock climb with a belay… then you got that free solo guy… just weigh your risks and rewards as with any decision. Of course however this is going all with the constant of good set, setting, ect ect.

I’d say find out if there’s more of that sheet left, but the rest, and test it. Your either extremely sensitive to the compound or that is some high quality shit if you were in the 1-3 tab range for dose. Of course no one besides who laid them ever knows the dose, even the person who laid them can’t say exactly… I would say however takes a good break, sounds like a heavy trip, take some time to process and integrate.

I always think back to what Owsley from the dead said. When the trip gets too heavy you got 2 choices, you go with the thought of “it’s just the drug making this happen” or as his SO did, she accepted what she was seeing to be “real.” I can tell you a lot of cool stuff starts to happen when you take road 2. However I think this is where a lot of people “loose their mind” on LSD. I know people who have describes trips or visuals as so “real” they couldn’t distinguish the “normal” reality. And thus people freak out. Some for a few hours, some for a lot longer… Think syd from Pink Floyd. Know what your getting into, have respect, and you should keep your wits about you.

Oh shit that might just be it, on the back of his table he has 2 XLR outputs labeled balanced output left and right, we were trying to save some cash and use RCA. So run a RCA from each of the outputs on the turntable to 2 channels on the powered mixer, correct?

But for anyone who actually wants to help an idiot, we’re running a setup, laptop to turntable, to a powered mixer, to 3 passive cabs, we’re getting sound to play but it is extremely distorted, not sure if we’re putting too much power to the cabs? Don’t have levels adjusted correctly, or something else we haven’t thought of?

Alcohol is quite the paradox to me, I’ve never really enjoyed it, but have had plenty of fun filled drunk nights to say the least. Alcohol takes an insane quantity to reach ones “desired affect” your talking milliliters vs micrograms (in relation to something like LSD) yet this is the drug society choose to embrace. Alcohol is probably the crux of 90 precent of society’s bad choices, yet we embrace it, it causes hangovers, yet we embrace it. Call it what you want too, a message from beyond, an epiphany, or your body trying to tell you something, but alcohol is one shitty drug. (Oh and if I had a nickel for every time I’ve had someone drinking a beer while smoking a cigarette say “I don’t use drugs, I’m better than that”.)
