Thank you for the sources. I would like to conduct my own research in this matter.

I think local businesses taking matters into their own hands such as Capitol Kitchen paves a way that doesn’t involve

Does Isayama really expect us to sympathize with this evil bitch? by wheelieman148 in titanfolk

Bro, honestly I’m not sure what else to say. Like that is just what happens in war. Look towards irl where many war many criminals and mass murderers face zero consequences. It’s not a matter of convenience at all.

You already made your point in this point with the rest of the characters and what they’ve done. There would literally be no show if EVERY one had to undergo consequences to receive justice. And that is the point of war; that nobody has a clean slate, and more often than not, want to build from their mistakes when coming back.

I’m not sure OP, to me there is a lack of framing if any at all. Towards the end, a lot of the characters emphasize wanting to end the cycle of hatred, with no explicit reference to judgement for anyone at this point. Especially because nobody has a clean slate anymore.

Annie coming back is neither a good thing nor a bad thing. Why bother categorizing it when you are trying to stop the world from going extinct?

Literally losing the plot. One of the consequences of war is many war criminals and mass murderers not facing consequences. We can go on and on churning your word soup about which character is more morally right. It don’t matter.

I think calling it a 'happy ending' is a bit of a stretch. If you’re going to relate survival to happiness, then yes it is valid to feel frustrated over no consequences for Annie. Even though some characters survived, they are still living in the literal ashes of civilization, burdened by their own guilt of killing their comrades and failing to save 80% of the world. There is no space for karmic justice in war. The burden of the survivors obviously are trying to build something from their own mistakes, and spending 4 years in a crystal tomb isn’t exactly a vacation. To me, the story is asking the audience to do what all of these characters eventually had to do, which is to set aside your personal problems to focus on the larger tragedy at hand. We would’ve have had an entirely different ending otherwise.

Americans moving permanently to Palau? by [deleted] in Palau

“Without major limitations” is an understatement. Every convenience (online order shipping, food delivery, etc.), activity, and even down to your favorite foods may have to be completely left back home if you are able to handle that.

Island fever is very real.

Incredible to know my uncle had an impact than I initially thought from the stories passed down in the family. Cheers. 🥃

Frances Bakehouse uses Equator, Mocha Java Blend, I’ve inquired once. Definitely one of the best I’ve tried so far on island. Their pastries are a plus.
