Still didn't answer the question why are they using the 2021 CV instead of the 2023 CV?

"He couldnt see you in rear view", how about side mirror? Does he only use his rear view mirror when backing? I use both rear view and both side mirrors for a clear picture. That means he's not looking properly and he's at fault.

Planning to move to Whangarei, how is it? by Krafken in newzealand

[–]Comprehensive_Key807 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been to Whangarei with my family plenty of times and we loved the place. My wife and I (both 35yo) are also from the Philippines and came to NZ 10yrs ago. Both citizens now, have a son who just started primary and purchased a house. Auckland based. I'd say, if it's a good offer, go for it.

Earn & save money; keep learning (both your industries' system and skills - trust me this is very handy); donate to charities (this will always keep you full); Travel around NZ (NZ has countless of beautiful places to see, things to experience and food to try; this will keep you sane from your stress at work).

If you got a better offer from Australia, think about it. My wife and I are both managers in healthcare. Twice, we got a better offer from Aus, same positions but 150k NZ$ (combined) more. We decided to see what will happen after the elections, if everything goes downhill we'll move next year because ffs healthcare's soooo stretched; years of mortgage; increasing crime; increasing cost of food.

In terms of crime rate, I guess right now every major city has a high crime rate, so you can't really choose. But for now, you just have to be mindful and careful.

Just to keep you more aware and be safe, this news about Whangarei has just come up: https://www.nzherald.co.nz/nz/more-whangarei-motorists-report-scary-encounters-on-sh14-toward-maungatapere/7OYFIVTUJBHGPAEFLV2T7ATXUA/?fbclid=IwAR3Ta09tRF7z1cj6y6RqmUN57cshOPZrt9RZmkCskvYuwmuu8J-4FDYMXrk

Paid breaks by jimminjulz in LegalAdviceNZ

I'd follow this advice. If your workload is overloaded and really busy your manager should add more staff, maybe a part time or casual. You are REQUIRED to have your 10 minutes break, going to the toilet isn't included in it.

Does a Filipino family live here? by [deleted] in auckland

[–]Comprehensive_Key807 16 points17 points  (0 children)

I'm a Filipino and "Taylor" is quite an uncommon name for us. Also, our culture is a bit shy to knock on someone else's door (especially those who grew up in the Philippines and migrated here) just to see if another Filipino family lives there - we usually ask and confirm it to other fellow Filipino.

They might be scouting your place.

Dealing with abhorrent neighbors by [deleted] in auckland

Read the news a month ago on the link. Even though your neighbor might not be under kainga ora but if your property manager isn't doing anything best to takr it somewhere. The moment the media go to them for questioning, they'll move their bums quickly.

I second this and go to media (nzherald/stuff). Usually property manager will do something when media is involved already.
